I’ve been practising Reiki on myself and others for over 15 years and it has been a constant comfort to me through the ups and downs of life.
I have always been a bit of a seeker and I have enjoyed delving into various philosophies and alternative therapies, including Qi Gong, Yoga, meditation and more. I’m always open to learning and I love discovering new ways that we can help support ourselves and each other to achieve our highest potential for health and happiness.
In 2005, at the age of 29, I created and co-founded one of the UK’s most successful independent music festivals (End of the Road) and spent ten intense years as a fulltime booker, organiser and company director.
Music is a great passion of mine but after a whirlwind decade of musical adventures, joys, tears, tribulations and a lot of time spent in front of a computer – I was utterly worn out and developed Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME) and Fibromyalgia.
I realised I would have to make some drastic life changes if I was going to recover, so I quit my job with the festival and gave myself the time and space to focus on my health and wellbeing.
With the help of my GP, some brilliant alternative health practitioners and my daily Reiki practise I made huge progress and I am once again excited about life and happy to be able to follow my other great passion by expanding my Reiki practice.
I believe that Reiki has brought a great amount of peace, balance, healing and happiness into my life and nothing gives me greater pleasure than helping other people to experience those same benefits.
